John doherty creater of Fish Aye Trading is a fisherman & artist out of Harwich on Cape Cod, Mass. As a licensed charter boat captain he gets out on the water often . His technique is know as Gyotaku or " fish rubbing "all started one day when removing the days catch from his boat. One of the fish left an imprint on the deck that caught his eye and from there began to experiment w/ paint ink and fish. Creating a body of work now know as Fish Aye Art.
