Small Original Salty Whale

Our original hand-crafted wooden whale!

Each whale is hand-crafted from local reclaimed wood ranging in age, with some 200+ years old. Each whale is unique with no two exactly alike. We do our best to preserve the character of the wood with each whale, so they will vary slightly in texture. Some whales may even feature nails, nail holes or sawmill marks. Each tells its own unique story and come with a wall hanger attached to the back.

Sizing

Each whale is individually cut and the above measurements (from head to end of tail) are approximate measurements as there maybe slight inconstancies in the wood that could shorter or lengthen each whale. Most boards are approximately 3/4 - 1" thick.

Care Recommendations

These whales are constructed from antique reclaimed wood. As such, we recommend use as indoor decor only. Exposure to rain, sun and the elements is not recommended. Exposure to the elements with further degrade the wood. 

Please note that the photos shown on the web page are example photos. You will not receive the exact product shown, but one similar to it. Due to the nature of the antique reclaimed wood that we utilize, no piece will be identical and each will have its own character and imperfections.
